The Malta National Team of Chefs has been accepted to participate in the World Culinary Olympics in Erfurt, Germany, this October.
This will be the first time that a team from Malta will participate in the Culinary Olympics, an event that takes place every four years.
This is the most prestigious of all culinary competitions around the globe.
As part of the training for the competition, the team is organising various dinners in different establishments, One such dinner will be held at the Malta Hilton on February 29. The team will prepare the menu that will be cooked and presented in the actual competition.
The team will be travelling to Budapest, in Hungary, to cook the trial menu at the Hungarian International Gastronomic Competition in March where the team can get feedback from professional judges before the final stage in Germany.
