Dinner for Westin guests in Rome

The management of the five-star Westin Dragonara Resort recently invited 54 people to dinner - in Rome.

The guests were the bosses and spouses of the hotel's top producing destination management companies, local companies that specialise in organising high yield conferences and special events for foreign-based firms.

Westin Dragonara Resort general manager Hans Cauchi said at the gala dinner that by year's end the Westin Dragonara will have renovated and upgraded more than 70 per cent of the bathrooms with the Heavenly Showers and linens.

Several other renovations and updates were also underway.

The approach to the hotel is being redesigned and will be completed by the end of this month. The pool area is another project, with the development of more garden space for sunbathing, improved seating for functions and events.

They are also redeveloping the Compass Rose restaurant and enhancing the Reef Club. Other projects include a 24-hour business centre in operation from May.
