Pembroke cemetery
Margaret Attard Baldacchino (January 31) and other readers might be interested to learn that Pembroke Pastoral Council has been working on the building of a cemetery in the area for the last three years.
The publishing of the amended North Harbours Local Plan should give the green light for the project to be taken seriously in hand.
Contrary to what Ms Attard Baldacchino believes, the capital expense will be considerable and the return will not be high but we consider this to be a pastoral service to our parishioners and neighbours.
