Three Premier League players have been banned for one match by the MFA after last weekend's four-match programme.
Marsaxlokk captain David Carabott will miss Sunday's important clash against Hibs, his former club, after picking up his fourth yellow card in the 2-1 defeat of Floriana on Saturday.
Pietà Hotspurs will have to do without the combative qualities of midfielder Keith Fenech for Saturday's encounter with leaders Sliema Wanderers. The 27-year-old Fenech collected his fourth yellow card in Sunday's goalless draw against Hibernians.
Stefan Zahra's use of abusive language during Sunday's 2-1 upset against Valletta has also cost him a one-match suspension.
Zahra was shown a straight red card only minutes after he had been substituted by Balzan coach Jimmy Briffa.
