The Malta Tourism Authority has launched a new advertising campaign in Italy with posters and billboards highlighting Malta's European origins and character.
The posters and billboards, which are set to run between March and June 2004, will be put up in Milan, Rome, Naples, Bologna, Venice and Bari.
The MTA's new campaign emphasises Malta's beauty, art, culture, history, and European Union member status.
The MTA's Italy office is also working closely with Italian tour operators via various print and e-newsletters containing extensive information on the Maltese islands.
