Follow-up action urged

The Federation of Associations of Travel and Tourism Agents congratulated President Guido de Marco for his initiative to meet the business trade in Milan and said it was now clearly up to the trade to follow up from where Prof. de Marco left off.

The federation said the free publicity Malta received from the President's visit to Italy was a clear indication of the way the country should start marketing the product 'Malta' to all prospective clients.

"One augurs that there will be more of such state visits within our core markets. Similarly other trade missions should take up the example given to us by President de Marco," FATTA said.
