Citrus exhibition at Lija

An unusual exhibition on citrus trees and fruit was held yesterday at Annibale Preca Primary School in Lija. Organised by the local council, the exhibition included trees, fruit, citrus-based cakes, local home made marmalade, citrus jellies, orange biscuits, cereal bars, chocolates and fruit juices. The Strickland Foundation, whose Villa Parisio has an extensive garden, was among the exhibitors.
