Commercial bank Volksbank Malta held a presentation on its services at the Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise in Valletta last week.
The presentation consisted of an overview of the services and products currently offered to the Maltese business community as well as to private customers. Future plans and products were also highlighted.
Maurice Mizzi, chairman of Volksbank Malta, introduced Volksbank Malta to participants, while Austrian director Christian Kaltenbrunner explained the embedding of the local branch into the European network of the Volksbanken Group and its worldwide connection with over 45,000 banking outlets via the Confédération Internationale des Banques Populaires.
Joseph Bugelli, finance acquisition manager at Volksbank, gave an overview of the bank's credit facilities and trade finance products, highlighting the advantages of doing business via the international Volksbanken Group.
Rita Gauci, front office manager, described the services offered to personal and corporate customers and introduced the bank's new services - debit cards and internet banking - which are scheduled for this year.
