The recently set up Valletta Alive Initiative proposing a regeneration strategy for Valletta has received a helping hand in the form of a sponsorship from Bank of Valletta.

The sponsorship was presented by Maurice Abela, executive head of the BoV Republic Street Branch & Business Centre, to Paul Fenech, VAI honorary treasurer.

Mr Abela noted that both Bank of Valletta and VAI believed that everyone should be proud of Valletta and that the city's appearance should reflect this pride.

The VAI is made up of the GRTU: Malta Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprise, the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise, the Malta Tourism Authority, the Merchant Street Business Community Association, the Republic Street Business Community Association, the Valletta Rehabilitation Committee and Valletta Council.
