I refer to the letter regarding power interruptions in Iklin (January 15).
Between January 6 and 8, there were three distribution faults that led to successive power interruptions in Iklin.
On January 6, parts of Iklin were left without electricity due to a fault in an underground power cable.
The following day, on January 7, while repairs to the underground cable were still in progress, there was another interruption due to overloading of the circuit taking over the additional load of the faulty cable. In such circumstances one cannot attribute these interruptions to bad system design.
On January 8 there was yet another interruption that was caused by an unrelated fault in an underground pilot cable.
Actually, none of these successive interruptions were due to overloading as such. It was just a coincidence of interruptions occurring in the same locality on three consecutive days.
Any inconvenience that might have been caused is regretted.
