Ranking tournament
Sixty-four players are vying for the Malta Billiards and Snooker Association third ranking tournament title, a competition sponsored by Primatel which starts today at various clubs around the island.
There will be 16 players who will qualify and earn the right to play against the top 16 in the MBSA snooker list.
The knock-out stages are scheduled for next week with the quarter-finals played on Friday and the semi-finals the day after.
The final will be held at the Peace Band Club, Naxxar on Sunday, January 25 starting at 5 p.m.
