Etienne Micallef, 28, of Birkirkara was charged with forging a nomination form of Tistà Tkun Int, making malicious use of the form and defrauding Mary Borg, John Farrugia and Charichelon Company Limited, the programme's producers, between August last year and January 14.

Thelma Mamo, 23, of Attard and Rita Borg, 21, of Birkirkara were arraigned separately and charged with defrauding Charichelon Company Limited and handing money that had been obtained by illicit means between January 3 - 10.

Micallef and Mamo were also charged with relapsing.

The three defendants pleaded guilty to the charges and their cases were put off to Friday.

Mamo and Borg were granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm2,000 each while Micallef was granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm4,000.

Police Inspector Bernard Zarb prosecuted.
