Does the EU allow aggregation of periods for social security?

Yes. The EU provisions on social security provide for "aggregation of periods". This means that periods of insurance, employment or residence completed under the legislation of one member state are taken into consideration, where necessary, for entitlement to benefit under the legislation of another member state.
