The inflation rate crept up in November after 18 consecutive months of drops.

The rate was 1.13 per cent in November, compared with 1.05 per cent in October, and 2.55 per cent in November 2002, according to figures released yesterday by the National Statistics Office.

The rate had reached a high of 3.65 per cent in April 2002 and since then had gradually come down to October's low.

In November this year, the Retail Price Index went down by 0.16 per cent to 101.75 from 101.91 in the previous month.
