Charged with damaging cars

A 34-year-old Valletta man was yesterday charged with damaging a number of cars parked in Valletta on December 11.

The cars that were allegedly damaged by Alfred Camilleri are a Daihatsu Charade belonging to Renald Azzopardi, a Toyota Tercel belonging to Christian Azzopardi and a Peugeot 106 belonging to John Pace.

Camilleri was also charged with wilfully damaging a Maruti belonging to Alfred Vassallo on Monday.

The damage in each case has been estimated at between Lm50 and Lm500.

Camilleri is being remanded in custody.
