The twinning of Dingli with Petrosino in Italy, has yielded an EU-funded project for the benefit of Maltese women.

Work is already in hand for the development of an incubator (resource centre) for the Enterprises of Maltese Women. However, since there will be a need for trainers, the first phase of this project is a short course called "Cultivating Women Entrepreneurs - training the trainers."

This intensive, full-time course is being organised by ANFE (Sicily) in close collaboration with WPDC (University of Malta) and ETC. The course will be delivered by Maltese and Italian experts at the Pope John Paul II Centre in Attard between January 26 and April 16.

Applications may be collected from Dingli council by January 14. For further information contact Jacqueline Azzopardi (tel: 7944-1779; e-mail: jacqueline.azzopardi@um.edu.mt
