Bay Street operators set up charity fund

In line with Bay Street's commitment to assist the organisers of l-Istrina collect the targeted Lm1 million in aid of charity, the operators at the complex are contributing to a common fund that will go to the campaign.

It is up to the operators to decide on the amount but one operator, Match Music, has committed himself to give 10 per cent of all his sales on Christmas eve towards the campaign which will be televised live on Saturday. Bay Street will be holding a series of events and activities, including carol singing, in the coming days with the money raised going to the l-Istrina common fund.
