San Gwann girl is Miss Christmas

Chantelle Grech of San Gwann has won the Miss Christmas beauty contest held by Catwalk Productions.

Solange Casha, of Pembroke, was first runner-up, Lana Xuereb, of San Gwann, second runner-up and Jolene Arpa, of Sta Lucia, third runner-up.

Miss Tourism International 2003, who will represent Malta in a contest in Malaysia next week, is Erica Ciantar.

Other titles were given as follows: Miss Christmas Teen - Maria Bezzina; Miss Christmas Photogenic - Chanel Bonnici; Miss Christmas Queen of Gozo - Audrey Galea; Miss Christmas Personality and Miss Best Look - Kristina Xuereb; Miss Christmas Best Figure - Elaine Bezzina; Miss Christmas Best Model Look - Antoinette Debono; Miss Christmas Bikini Look - Alexia Grech, and Miss Catwalk Productions International - Charlene Buttigieg.

In the same contest the judges selected Nakita Vassallo as the next Miss Carnival Queen 2004.

The contest was held at Bay Street.

Twenty-eight contestants from all over Malta and Gozo took part.
