Josef Camilleri has been unanimously elected as the new chairman of Young Enterprise Malta (YEM). He succeeds Michael Cutugno, who had been at the helm of the organisation for three years.

Mr Camilleri was appointed on the YEM board of directors in 2001 as a representative of HSBC Bank Malta, the main sponsors of Young Enterprise Malta.

He is HSBC's external communications and community relations manager as well as deputy chairman of the National Council for Arts and Culture. Mr Camilleri has been involved in YEM for the past five years, as both a local and European judge.

Meanwhile, the teams participating in this year's HSBC Company Programme will be exhibiting and selling their products at a Christmas fair being held at the Malta International Airport between today and Sunday.

The fair will be held in the tunnel underneath the arrivals and departure lounge (level -1). It will be open between 1 - 9 p.m. today and between 10 a.m. and noon and between 2 - 9 p.m. tomorrow and on Sunday.
