Water Services Corporation employees and their relatives yesterday visited the WSC's head office in Luqa to have their hair cut and styled in aid of the Richmond Foundation.

Professional hairdressers volunteered their services in the first hairdressing marathon organised by the corporation's sports and social club. Corporation chief executive Anthony Rizzo was among the first to get a trim and raise some money.

The corporation said there was a great atmosphere and the marathon, which ran between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., would be an annual event.

The Richmond Foundation provides community rehabilitation and support services for persons with mental health problems.
