The impressive field of 27 young bowlers (16 boys, 11 girls) have now completed the qualifying round of the National Junior Championships at the Eden SuperBowl.

After their 12 round one games, the top six bowlers from each category now go forward to compete in a round robin second stage of the competition.

After that, the top two will go head-to-head in a best-of-three final series. The top six boys are: Rankin Camilleri, Justin Caruana Scicluna, Ramon Casha, Ryan Borg, Keith Bugeja and Mattia Busuttil. Junior girls' champion Tiziana Carannante was joined in the next stage by Stephanie Said, Faye Formosa, Valentina Bezzina, Luisa Buttigieg and Claire Bugeja.
