Silvio Tonna, 21, has been awarded the gold medal for Sommelier of the Year at this year's Salon Culinaire de Malte held at the New Dolmen Hotel. Mr Tonna is responsible for the wine cellar at the Zest Restaurant in St Julian's where guests are offered a selection of over 100 wines.
