A resolution on the role of volunteers is to be presented to the Social Policy Ministry, drawing on the findings of workshops at a seminar organised yesterday by the Malta Red Cross.

The seminar was held at the Old Villa Rosa, St Julian's and its theme was "Being a Volunteer - Another Perspective in Life, celebrated International Volunteers Day".

Various NGOs took part in this seminar including the Malta Red Cross Society; St John Rescue Corps; Hospice Movement; SOS Malta; Caritas Malta; Kerygma Movement; YMCA; Jesuits Refugee Service and the Sea Cadets.
