Corinthia Training Academy has received the Best Training Initiative Award 2003 from the Foundation for Human Resources Development.

The awards ceremony was held at the Hilton.

The Corinthia Training Academy was the first such initiative to be launched by the local private tourism sector, providing both local and overseas Corinthia employees with internationally recognised Edexcel qualifications.

Academies are now being launched within the different regions where Corinthia operates. At the Corinthia Nevskij Palace in Russia, the academy has opened its doors for the first intake of service cadets who are due to graduate next January, while Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel in Tripoli will be following suit within the first quarter of next year.

The second intake of service cadets from the Malta properties will commence their training next March, following the successful completion of the first group of graduates.
