The Chamber of Architects and Civil Engineers has been accepted as a full member of the Architects' Council of Europe (ACE), during the ACE assembly held in Brussels last month.
ACE groups together architects' associations within the EU. It acts as a point of contact for the architectural profession and the EU's structures.
It has an ongoing collaboration with the EU, and has been commissioned by the EU's DG Environment to prepare a report in conjunction with the drafting of a Buildings' Energy Performance Directive.
The chamber is already actively involved in this work through its representatives, Dr V. Buhagiar and Jean Frendo.
