A Fgura man was yesterday charged with assaulting and slightly injuring his wife.

Louis Spiteri, 32, pleaded not guilty to assaulting and injuring his wife in their Fgura home on November 29 and relapsing.

Police Inspector Yvette Farrugia prosecuted.

Dr John Vassallo appeared for Spiteri while Dr Kris Busietta appeared in parte civile.
