Terror attack condemned

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malta strongly condemned the terrorist attack targeting Spanish personnel in Iraq.

Spain is mourning the death of seven officers in an ambush in Iraq on Saturday.

"Such cowardly acts only serve to further destabilise the situation in the country," the government said.

It expressed its condolences to the government and people of Spain and to the families of the victims.
