The police seized some 100 grams of heroin and cannabis resin during a raid on the residence of a 28-year-old man from Marsa, who had been monitored for several days.

The police also noticed that the electricity meter at the home, in Triq il-Farfett, had been tampered with. The man was arrested.

Magistrate Abigail Lofaro appointed experts to help her in an inquiry. Investigations are being headed by Inspector Nezren Grixti.
