The Maltese Islands, together with three other travel destinations, will be featured in the 45-minute television programme Il Viaggiatore which will be shown on Italian channel Rete 4 on Saturday at 5 p.m.

During the programme, Malta Tourism Authority's regional director, Dominic Micallef, takes presenter Attilio Grilloni around Malta and Gozo.

Mr Grilloni's main interest was one of Malta's best-known archaeological sites, Hagar Qim.

During his stay in Malta, Mr Grilloni was hosted by the MTA with support by Air Malta.
