Workers at Methode Electronics, in Mriehel yesterday morning trapped a car thief in the vehicle he had forced himself into and even found the time to take a picture before the police arrived.

The thief was spotted by the employees from their canteen window. "This was not the first time that cars have been broken into in the parking area but, luckily, we caught one this time," one of the employees said.

District police are investigating.
