575 struck off unemployment register
A total of 575 persons were struck off the unemployment register between January and September this year, Education Minister Louis Galea said in reply to a parliamentary question yesterday. He said 155 had been working while registering as unemployed, 370 had refused a job and 50 and refused training.
The question was put by Labour MP Adrian Vassallo.
