Like on many other weekends, there were campers at Kennedy Grove on the first and third days of November. On the Tuesday morning as I drove to work, the campers had left, leaving behind a trail of filth. The grounds were speckled with litter and the recycling bins piled up with mixed rubbish.

They left the council to clean up their mess and me to fork out the bill. A true shame.

People should be held responsible for this. May I suggest to the council that anyone wishing to camp or barbecue within its confines start registering their activities so that they can easily be traced and made to fork out the money for their lack of civic spirit? Such culprits deserve no better!
