A Zabbar man was yesterday charged with stealing over Lm1,000 worth of items from a Zejtun garage.

Bindaoud Ahmed, 48, pleaded not guilty to stealing the items to the detriment of Nazzareno Balzan and handling stolen property on July 20. He was granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm1,000.

Police Inspector Edel Mary Camilleri prosecuted.
