Obituary
DEBONO. On November 10, at Villa Messina, Rabat, ROSE née Farrugia, widow of Alfred, aged 97, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Myrtle, widow of Lolly Darmanin and her son Jojo and his wife Gladys, her brother John, her grandchildren Tonio and his wife Marie, Theresa and her husband Chris and Ian and his wife Crysta, her beloved great-grandchildren Andrea, Francesca, Pia, Philip and Emma, her in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Villa Messina today at 8.15 a.m. for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
Requiem Masses
A Mass for the repose of the soul of HENRY CIANCIO, son of the late Joseph Ciancio, photographer, will be said tomorrow at 9.45 a.m. at the Addolorata Cemetery chapel, Paola. Henry passed peacefully away in Australia on October 24, 2003. His ashes are being repatriated to his homeland and will be duly interred in his family's crypt. Accordingly, all family and friends are welcome to attend.

Call for volunteers
Programm Ulied Darna (PUD), developed by Agenzija Appogg to assist parents, particularly with their offspring's upbringing, has made a call for volunteers.
Trained volunteers, under the guidance of Appogg professionals, offer time, skills, friendship, information and practical help for families who are under stress.
Applicants need to be motivated individuals over the age of 21, willing to assist a team of social workers currently supporting families in the community.
They will be given the necessary induction training and ongoing support by professionals.

Windows on Music concert
The November edition of the Windows on Music series of concerts will be given at the Corinthia Palace Hotel, Balzan on November 26 at 7.30 p.m.
The series is organised by the Manoel Theatre in collaboration with the Music Studies Programme at the University of Malta and sponsored by the Malta Tourism Authority.
Translation Reprint
The Social Action Movement has reprinted its translation into Maltese of the documents of the Second Vatican Council held between 1962-65. The original 1983 publication has been sold out for some time.
The book, spread over 476 pages, may be obtained from the MAS office at 15, Old Mint Street, Valletta at Lm8 per copy, from 8 a.m. till 1.30 p.m.
V-Dubs Club
The V-Dubs Club, which brings together Volkswagen owners, has found premises at Shop 1, Trejqet il-Gibjun, Birkirkara.
