Lace promotion

Lace was promoted during a day-long event on Sunday at St James Cavalier in Valletta. There are 65 lace makers registered with the Malta Crafts Council, which is working to increase its sales. Standards for Maltese lace are currently being drawn up, which would enable its protection as a unique product.
