I refer to the letter by Stephen Agius (November 4). Very well said Mr Agius... I agree with him 100 per cent. Germany and France did not want to be involved in the Iraq war and America and Britain went alone with some other manpower from smaller countries.
The way I see it, other countries are jealous of America and Britain because they go it alone when people of other countries are suffering. They are there to help those in need and they do not play the cowardly game. Oil or no oil, they got rid of evil Saddam Hussein's regime and that is what counts... get it?
I also remember at the end of World War Two, the Americans sent each school child a tooth brush and tooth paste which we needed so much for oral hygiene. But, of course, we are quick to forget those little things which mean so much.
So I say, God bless America always.
