A Naxxar man has been fined Lm50 for slightly injuring his wife.

Carl Michael Zacchau, 40, was found guilty of assaulting and slightly injuring his wife Maria Rozaria in Naxxar on September 5, 2002, at about 11.30 a.m.

Magistrate Abigail Lofaro also bound Zacchau not to approach his wife for a year against a Lm100 fine in default.
