A group of seven junior players left Malta yesterday on their way to Tunisia where they will take part in a tennis tournament in Sfax.

The trip was made possible through the initiative of the Gordon Asciak Tennis School which is situated at the Marsa Sports Club and the Malta Tennis Federation.

The players in Tunisia are Matthew Asciak, Alan Calleja, J.J. Micallef, Anthony Bonnici and Malcolm Ferrante, all Gordon Asciak Tennis School members, and Elaine Genovese and Matthew Hyzler.

The group, led by official Helen Asciak, is expected back on Friday.
