A total of 1,200 olive trees are being presented to residents of Nadur on St Peter's Square today at 10.15 a.m. as part of the local council's scheme to promote the planting of olive trees. The trees will be blessed by Fr Carmelo Portelli.

The seventh diocesan pastoral congress entitled "Building a Christian Community" is being held at the Catholic Action premises in Sir Arturo Mercieca Street, Victoria, from November 14 to 16.
