440 cases of venereal disease

A total of 440 cases of venereal disease were recorded between January 2 and September 17 this year, Health Minister Louis Deguara said in parliament.

Replying to a parliamentary question by Labour MP Adrian Vassallo, he said that over the same period there were 451 cases of HIV counselling and testing and 305 cases of check-ups with no disease found.
