Bible Sunday

The Archdiocese of Malta and the Diocese of Gozo will celebrate Bible Sunday on Sunday.

Bible Sunday is one of the many initiatives of the Malta Bible Society, aimed at raising wider awareness of the importance of the Word of God in the Church and in one's personal life.

This year the theme revolves around a verse from the Book of Psalms in the Bible: "I Wait for the Lord, My Soul waits, And in His word, I put my Hope". The Malta Bible Society is promoting this message through a wide distribution of published material in parishes, groups, households and schools.

A special package has been prepared for students aimed at helping them understand the importance of the Bible.
