DEMICOLI - EDWARD, aged 68, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Astrid, his brothers and sisters Silvio and his wife Sheila, Victor and his wife Hilda, Maryrose and her husband Charles Attard, Eileen, Ray and his wife Angela, Saviour and his wife Bernadette, Charles, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.

Requiem Masses

SIM Card Use

Customers of Vodafone Malta and other overseas mobile operators who have roaming agreements with J-Phone, can now use the SIM card they usually use with their GSM handset with a 3G rental handset, a first in the Japanese market.

J-Phone Co., Ltd. now renamed Vodafone KK, is Vodafone's operating company in Japan. The majority of GSM handsets will not work in Japan, which uses a network that is not compatible with other GSM and CDMA networks.

Second Hand Books Fair

The Friends of the National Archives of Malta is holding a book fair of second hand books at the National Archives in Rabat on November 2 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The event forms part of Archive Awareness Week between October 27 and November 2.

Books may be taken to the archives until Saturday, or call tel. 2145 9863.

Day Of Recollection

A day of recollection is being held for former pupils and teachers of St Joseph (MBC) Paola, and friends, at St Joseph Prayer House, Rabat on Friday from 9 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. Mass will be said at noon.
