In between rehearsals for next month's Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Sarah Harrison has been living every child's dream and taking part as an extra on the set of the next film Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

The past year has been a whirlwind of excitement for the 13-year-old girl. After winning a coveted place at the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London she landed a part as one of the students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

"I am avid fan of Harry Potter and just being on set was an exhilarating experience, let along being a part of it," she enthused from her home in London.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is J.K. Rowling's third book, one she says was the most fun to write, and the film is expected to premiere next year.

Sarah joined hundreds of other students on set at the start of the term banquet at the Great Hall where the children are sorted into one of the four houses by putting the Sorting Hat on their head.

She formed part of Ravenclaw house and one of the most exciting moments was bumping into the film's stars including Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the part of Harry Potter.

Sarah has been filming on and off at the Leavesden Studios in Watford, UK since February and her participation was under wraps until now because of confidentiality agreements. Shooting of her part should be over in the coming days.

Which is just as well... because next week Sarah flies back to Malta to launch the CD of her single Like A Star in time for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest being held in Copenhagen on November 15.

The CD, which has an extended mix and club mix of the song, is interactive and includes details on Malta's young rising star.

The CD will be available on the local market in the coming days and will also be promoted in the participating countries.

In Copenhagen, which will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, she will be battling stiff competition from contestants from: Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Latvia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, and the UK.
