Residents in the dark

At long last the renovation of Paceville has begun and, as promised, on the first week of October. The only fly in the ointment, so to speak, is that the residents do not know what the plans are. Apart from one meeting and a sketch of the so-called square at the top of Wilga Street, we have no idea what is going to happen to the rest of the roads in Paceville.

For instance, we were under the impression that Paceville was to be turned into a pedestrian area. If so which roads will this involve?

Rumours abound here at the moment for instance that Paceville Avenue is going to be the major through-road for traffic. If so this would be ridiculous as this is the one street that has the most restaurants and a large number of residents.

What has happened to the ring road? Could someone in authority kindly inform us as to what they have in mind for us; then maybe we could tell them what the residents would like.

It seems to us that other people have had their input as to what they would like but no one cares about the residents.
