Amazing stunt

Incredible amazing stunt? No. The appropriate authorities (or should I say inappropriate) gave their fiat for a heavy truck to go down St Ursula Street, Valletta, a world heritage city, damaging in the process the old steps laid centuries ago.

When a fireworks display closed a Malta International Airport runway, one reader with tongue in cheek had the audacity to say that this was Mickey Mouse country.

I do not dare repeat this phrase... lest Mickey takes offence.
