Assault charge

A Paola man was yesterday charged with threatening and assaulting a public officer in hospital last year. Matthew Sant, 31, pleaded not guilty to threatening and assaulting Matthew Mangion at St Luke's Hospital on April 29, 2002 at about 12.15 p.m.
