Fr John Cassar, OFM Cap., who has been doing missionary work in Madogo and Mororo in the diocese of Garissa, Kenya for the last 11 years is appealing for money for his missionary work.

He said many of the children in Garissa are living below the poverty line and in bad sanitary conditions.

Fr Cassar is appealing either for a one-off donation or for the sponsorship of a boy or girl which, he said, would cost Lm25 annually.

Donations can be sent to the Garissa Poor Children Fund, Capuchin Convent, Lourdes Square, San Gwann. All donations will be acknowledged by receipts.
