The University of Malta'S Gozo Centre is accepting applications for the following courses:

¤ Welding Techniques and Inspection, for electrical engineers and others who work in the industry. The course will be spread over seven weekends starting on Saturday.

¤ Waste Water Treatment, for people involved in the upgrade of drainage systems and hotels. The course will be spread over six weekends, beginning on Saturday, October 25.

¤ Communication Skills, to equip students with the basic skills to facilitate communication. The course, spread over seven weekends, starts on Friday, October 31.

¤ Fire Engineering, for safety officers, officers, firemen, supervisors, security, ship keepers and other personnel. The course will be spread over five weekends, and starts on Saturday, December 6.
