Sales and Marketing Management Programme
This programme has been designed with the sales and marketing practitioner in mind. It is conducted by lecturers, executives and specialised consultants, whose expertise provides the participants with a wealth of academic and practical knowledge.
The programme will prove most useful to marketing managers who wish to improve their understanding of marketing as a major element in the management decision-making process; public sector officials whose duties require an understanding of marketing mechanisms; and educators who wish to increase their marketing proficiency. The course starts on October 14.
Effective Project Management
MUS will be repeating their successful and well-attended three-day course aimed at project managers working in corporate planning, systems development, IT or new product development, R&D and financial institutions.
In three intensive days, this course will provide participants with proven tools and techniques to meet project objectives on time and within budget. The method of delivery is through lecture and discussion in plenary sessions, exercises and case-studies which provide the participants with the opportunity to practice the techniques and to share experiences with other course participants. Much of the work is carried out in small groups and whenever possible, participants' real situations are used as the basis for problem solving sessions.
The course, conducted by Dr Rodney Turner, will be held in November.
Managing Time More Profitably
Time is a limited yet most valuable resource. Everyone, from secretary to top management needs to know how to manage this scarce resource more efficiently and effectively.
This one-day seminar led by C.J. Falzon, senior lecturer in the Department of Management, would help participants identify how they spend their and other people's time.
Better still participants will learn how to release time for personal leisure and relaxation besides getting all tasks done.
This one-day course will be held on October 23.
Managing for Success: a course for middle management
