MLP protests to PBS

The Labour Party has protested with Public Broadcasting Services over the adoption of systems "which discriminate against the party".

In a letter to PBS chief executive Andrew Psaila, MLP media executive Mark Farrugia said that although PBS was sending a cameraman and a journalist to the party's activities it was not immediately broadcasting a report. This had taken place twice lately, the party said.

When PBS decided to report on the party's activities, the news items were being broadcast without the prominence they deserved, simply because they were being broadcast late, Mr Farrugia said.
